Honey and Royal Jelly

Mel's Honey

Mel's Honey is taken right from the comb and not heated to avoid granulation. This product is 100 percent pure honey. No sugar or corn syrup has been added . If honey is commercially packed, then it has been heated and pushed through a charcoal filter to lighten its color. Mel's honey will change color depending on, the time of year it was harvested, and on the flowers the bees are working. Honey should be stored in a tightly covered container at room temperature. Freezing and refrigeration will not harm the honey, but may hasten granulation. To liquefied: (1) place container in a pan of warm, not hot water: (2)Place in microwave on High for 30 seconds. (3) place in an ant-free area in the direct sun. To protect its delicate flavor, do not overheat.

A Beekeeper (Apiarist)…

Mel has been a beekeeper since 1973. He keeps his beeyards in various locations in Southern California. The honey produced varies in color from light amber to a dark depending on the time of year, and the flowers the bees are working. Usually in the spring the bees are gathering fruit blossom honey, which is usually a lighter and milder honey, then in the fall the bees gather a darker, more richer flavor honey from various floral sources. All of the honey is labeled "Wildflower" because we cannot identify the exact floral source. But you can be sure that whatever kind we are shipping, it is pure and fresh. They say the variance in the color is due to the minerals in the honey, the darker the honey, the more minerals. You will notice our honey will vary in color throughout the year. Its never been heated, mixed, or filtered to change the color. The honey you get from us is right from the hive.

OTHER BEE PRODUCTS

Royal Bee Jelly has become recognized as one of the most valuable natural and absolutely genuine products available to man. It is exactly the same substance that serves as the only food for the Queen Bee.

Freeze the Royal Bee Jelly, taking ¼ teaspoon daily with food, or mix thoroughly the entire contents (2oz.) with 16oz. of Mel’s Honey.

Using honey preserves its full potency and protects it from stomach acid. You can vary the amount of honey to taste. When mixed with honey, take up to 1 teaspoon twice a day before breakfast or at bedtime with a small amount of chilled water. Or if you wish, mix in your favorite drink. Take with food. The best way to store the mixture is at room temperature. Honey is a natural anaseptic.
